During 2016 several assignments were entered into and, in most cases, completed.
The comments below come from Superintendents, current and former CPI associates, and managing directors who all offered various assessments of CPI accomplishments:
In early 2016 several CPI associates reviewed the policies and procedures of a western MA business office. Much of the written report focused on what the CPI team members heard from business office staff, building and senior administrators. A series of findings and recommendations were provided.
Later in the school year, CPI assisted the superintendent in informing statewide elected officials on the distribution of Chapter 70 funds.
CPI provided a metro west school district (enrollment of approximately 1,500) with the screening and interviewing of applicants for business officials.
In school districts on the NY border, CPI provided reviews and documentation of the status of the business office and operational procedures.
In the spring, CPI provided one of Massachusetts most active collaboratives with a review of its business operations, including treasurer responsibilities, transportation and other more traditional business office operations.
In the fall, Frank Colvario agreed to assume the position/responsibility of the collaborative.
CPI continued, for the thirteenth consecutive year, its advisory services with the owner and staff of a statewide and regional insurance consultant and brokerage.
