CPI Associates

Kathleen Breen  secretary in a school department's special education department for a high/capita  town. She assisted CPI in reviews of Medicaid to improve operations and  increase re-imbursements.

  

Chief Kevin Breen is an experienced fire fighter who has worked both in small cities and in cities with populations of approximately 30,000 and 40,000 people. Mr. Breen has been a firefighter, fire lieutenant, deputy fire chief, assistant fire chief and fire chief. As a fire chief he has supervised approximately 75 staff members. Once, acting as interim town manager, Kevin Breen supervised between 225 and 250 full-time employees.            


Stephanie Case  a veteran special education special education with significant successes  at a Learning Center.  She was a resource teacher unit leader for the  learning disabled unit of a small city district at the elementary and  secondary levels.  In 1997, Stefanie was promoted to Supervisor of  Special Education and in 2004 she became a Director of Special  Education.  Currently Ms. Case is coaching and mentoring a new director  of special education in Western MA.  Stefanie possesses a Bachelors of  Science in Special Education and Elementary Education, a Masters of  Education and a CAGS in Administration.           


Linda Chase  former special education instructor who progressed to be student service  administrator.  She assisted CPI with reviews of special education  departments.           


Eric DeHays  for over fifteen years Eric DeHays has been employed in three very  different school settings, a university and two K-12 regional school  districts.  As a technology advisor, Eric has served on three successful  school/library building committees.  Eric's experiences include  overseeing school district IT departments, maintaining district computer  networks (wired and wireless), phone systems, security camera systems  and database systems.           


Deborah Downes  elementary and special education teacher, high school teacher and assistant  principal.  Ms.  Downes assisted CPI in curriculum and school district  reviews as well as a collaborative assignment identifying strengths and weakness of the organization.           


Martha Downs  K-12 public school financial support staff member who became the assistant business manager as well as serving as a treasurer for a state-wide  collaborative           


Cheryl Duval  comptroller responsible for the full scope of financial management responsibilities  in storage, retail, food and cleaning sectors; CFO of two of the  largest regional school districts in MA.           


Eleanor Mayotte Fernands  middle school teacher who became a building assistant principal and then principal.  As a consultant, she mentored other school principals and developed various curriculum courses.            


Kathleen Fitzgerald  assistant principal, principal, curriculum coordinator and supervisor of curriculum            


Jane Furey  7-12 teacher of mathematics progressing to be middle school principal in both a very old and then very new middle school; currently a K-8  parochial building administrator.           


Phil Haberstroh  7-12  teacher of mathematics, school registrar, teacher-in-charge and assistant headmaster at one of the state's largest high schools;  part-time Northeastern professor for over 25 years.            


Phil Hazard  provider of all needed technical advice and service on desktop, laptop and  various other technology equipment; installed software, updates and  problem solved; assisted with school district assignments through  interviews with school staff and observing methodology of finance  operations.           


Susan Horn  reading specialist and classroom teacher at the elementary, middle, and high  school levels, director of curriculum and assistant superintendent           


Charles Horn  special education instructor, student service administrator, executive director and college adjunct           


Paul Jackson  CFO for two towns' school districts and the purchasing agent for multi-national insurance company in North America           


Edward Kasanjian  executive director of one of the largest and oldest co-operatives in MA,  servicing not only MA school districts but several other states' school  districts; assistant superintendent in two of the states most successful  school districts         


Daniel Kehoe  high school science teacher, track coach, planetarium director, junior high  department head, elementary and middle school principal, director of curriculum and superintendent.  Dan was a CPI educational technology  consultant for several years.            


Elizabeth Keroack  adjunct  instructor in the C.A.G.S. programs of private and state universities,  an assistant superintendent in three school districts           


Sherry Kersey  accountant and fund accountant staff member before advancing to business official  of a K-12 regional district.  Served concurrently as Interim  Superintendent for one year.  In her current role, she manages the  district's financial management systems, budget development, contracted  food service, facilities operations, transportation, procurement and  various insurance renewals.    

  

Chief George Klauber possesses valuable experience including over thirty-seven (37) years of municipal fire service and emergency management. Mr. Klauber was Fire Chief for the Derry Fire Department in New Hampshire. Prior to that position, he was the Fire Chief in Waterbury, Connecticut. Since 2000 George has worked with Municipal Resources Inc. (MRI) as a contractor.


Dawn Marie Kwiatek is a long term municipal and school staff member who has significant financial management and technology experiences and successes.  Until recently she supervised the processing of a weekly payroll of approximately $2,000,000. During last few months, Ms. Kwiatek, has been promoted first to payroll supervisor and in early March to internal auditor for the city of Lynn.            


Captain Angela Lawless is a 20+ year experienced fire department employee. Most recently, Captain Lawless’s most important responsibilities were: Developing and implementing daily training,

commanding the daily shift and incidents, andperforming employee evaluations and setting expectations.       


Connie Lacarite  financial manager, both at point of implementation and as a senior financial  supervisor. In many school financial circumstances she has used technology systems to record, tabulate and report the finances of the involved school districts where she has worked.           


Tammy Lajoie  since 1999 Tammy Lajoie has worked as a vocational school accountant and  business manager.  For several months Tammy has also been interim  Superintendent.  Tammy is also a Certified Public Purchasing Official  and belongs to the Massachusetts Association of School Business  Officials (MASBO), Massachusetts Association of Regional Schools (MARS),  and the Massachusetts Association of Vocational Administrators (MAVA).   Tammy possesses experience working on and supervising transportation,  in-house school food service program, procurement and various school district insurances.           


Sheri Matthews  has worked in K-12 public schools as a Business Administrator, Director of  Finance/Operations and as a Budget Officer since 1999.  Sheri has  supervised all the facilities, transportation, technology, food  services, human resources, procurement, purchasing and budgeting in at least two districts.  Holding a DESE certification as a  Business Administrator and Superintendent/Assistant Superintendent,  Sheri is also MCPPO certified.  Ms. Matthews is a member of MASBO and  ASBO as well as NAPW (National Association of Professional Women).             


Linda McDonald  senior clerk in city departmemt of public works in large western MA city, she  assisted CPI in building audits for another large western MA city that  resulted in significant return from reimbursements.            


Susan Moran  middle and high school teacher of English, department head, Advanced Placement  teacher. principal of K-8 school, graduate instructor at Simmons           


Brad Mount  supervisor of the operations of ice rink facilities as well as related buildings,  grounds and maintenance. In his operational duties, building repair and  improvement projects including site improvements have been added duties.  His responsibilities have also included overseeing production  coordination, event scheduling and relationships with other departments  within the community of student and parent organizations.           


Matt Olson  CPI technology specialist with hardware and software in the late 80's and early 90's           


Gary Osmond  business official of two K-12 high/capita towns and at a prestigious independent  school.  With CPI, Gary assisted in building audits for a large western  MA city that resulted in significant return of reimbursements..             


Heath Petacca  supervisor of buildings, grounds, maintenance, and food service operation in two school districts, CFO of a K-12 district.          


Robert Putnam  elementary  teacher and principal, director of teaching and learning, assistant  superintendent, superintendent and accomplished musician.           


David Trainor  assistant to a mayor, manpower director, and acting HR director for a city,  legislative analyst - House of Representatives; director of human  resources and administrative service in a K-12 regional school district;  chief human resources officer for a state university, public university  system, and major research university; chief of staff for public  university system chancellor; and president  of a financial  services/healthcare non-profit servicing academic, cultural, scientific,  and governmental institutions.           


Barbara Von Villas  director of student services, assistant principal, principal (7-12), supervisor  of secondary school curriculum & instruction (9-12), deputy  superintendent, superintendent of schools, adjunct professor, school  committee chair, and town selectperson.           


Marilyn Wiley  former middle school teacher who directed one of the largest and most successful food lunch programs in MA.


Marianne Young  beginning her career as an English teacher, Marianne R. Young has served as a  middle school principal and a superintendent and currently serves public  education as a high school principal.  She is an instructor for  Graduate and Continuing Education at the Massachusetts College of  Liberal Arts and she has been a keynote speaker and presenter at state  and national conferences.  Marianne was one of two hundred principals  nationwide to complete the National Board for Professional Teaching  Standards for Accomplished Principals pilot certification program.
